POSITION: VALUE ENGINEERING
PURPOSE: To impart Optimum Value Engineering Expertise to Vignani Customers
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• System Engineering – Experience (with success) in system design and managing product development involving multiple disciplines including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers. Development through launch and early production support for at least 3 system products of moderate to high complexity. Basic knowledge of microcontamination reduction practices. Basic knowledge of micro-contamination reduction practices involved in the semiconductor equipment industry would be a plus
• Design Engineering – Performed detailed mechanical (preferred) or electrical engineering designs of moderate to high complexity for 3+ significant product developments that made it into production. Familiarity with modern software tools, both analytical (e.g. FEA, thermal, vibration) and practical (e.g. mechanical and electrical CAD/CAM, PDM.) Experience with modern PDM processes, especially ECO, product structuring.
• Supplier Experience – Familiar with and has practical experience with development of components using multiple manufacturing technologies for, in order of importance, metal parts (e.g. stainless steel & aluminum, machining, sheet metal, casting, forging, coatings, plating, cleaning,) PCBA’s (modern components and board production,) plastic parts (machining, molding,) and more exotic materials materials (ceramics.)
QUALIFICATIONS: Masters/Bachelors Degree equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering
EXPERIENCE: Over 15 years of experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT/DYNAMICS: Is it a stressful environment and hence the selected candidate must be prepared to endure such stress
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequent travel and late night work may be in store.

POSITION: SR. DESIGN ENGINEER
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include managing sub-teams in a project / a small project team (schedule, allocate and monitor tasks) or executing tasks independently and focus on technical issues to ensure delivery of a module/project. Responsible for project performance and impact on company critical success factors, take direction from management staff, but be able to provide independent expertise to accomplish tasks as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS: Masters/Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Electrical discipline with strong theoretical knowledge
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS and ABILITIES:
1. Sheet Metal Discipline:
• Extensive application of Pro/Sheet metal and moderate usage of Pro-Detail
• Concepts of precision sheet metal structures, mounting brackets and welded constructions.
• Create system level skeleton of large enclosures utilizing Top down Design methodologies.
• Perform complex interference fit checks and model checks
2. Electrical Discipline:
• Extensive application of Pro/Diagram, Pro-Cabling and Harness /RSD with large assembly management and moderate usage of Pro-Detail
• Route wires and cables and create cable assemblies, component layouts, system diagram and wiring diagram
• Create system level harness skeleton utilizing Top down Design methodologies
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 7 Years of “hands on” experience in High-end ProE design concepts including large assembly management, Pro/INTRALINK or Windchill. Demonstrated ability to manage top-level models (part counts > 10,000) where component parts are being actively modified by peers. Experience in Cabling, Simple electronics, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, ECO procedures, Product Lifecycle & Engineering Solutions (PLES), Value engineering & detailing of fabricated parts / assemblies.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Pro/E Wildfire Experience, Experience in working with multi national corporations. Prior experience in handling small teams, requirement analysis, concept design and strong knowledge of industrial processes is required. Willing to work in shifts, Flexible to take on additional jobs as requested by reporting manager, willing to travel. Ability to Train team members & to conduct teleconference with clients.

POSITION: DESIGN ENGINEER
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities would include working as an Engineering designer for project execution and carryout engineering work and adhere to the project schedule and quality processes.
QUALIFICATIONS: Masters/Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Electrical discipline with good theoretical knowledge

EXPERIENCE: EE with 6-8 years experience
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
• Strong digital/analog, mixed signal design experience, experience with microprocessor/microcontroller/PLD/CPLD/FPGA/DSP -based embedded systems hardware and software design.
• This EE is a core development team member working to develop and support Electronic products being developed for Capital Equipment Industry like Semiconductor Equipments, Instrumentation Equipments, Medical Equipments etc. These designs include microprocessor/microcontroller/PLD/CPLD/FPGA/DSP-based control and processing units.
• An individual with demonstrated strengths in digital/analog & mixed signal design and embedded systems development is the ideal candidate. Strong analog and digital design skills are required.
• The EE position will work within a larger team including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and program management.
• This EE also should have exposure to PCB design of High Speed – Multi Layer boards & should have worked on tools like Cadence - Concept Schematic, Allegro Design Expert Specctra AutoRoute, Specctra Quest, OrCAD Schematic Capture, Layout Plus., Mentor – Boardstation, PADs, Signal Integrity tools etc.

POSITION: PCB DESIGNER
PURPOSE: Hardware / PCB development for Reverse Engineering, Obsolescence management, Value Engineering and Reliability Engineering projects.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with other hardware team members and Schematics entry, simulation and design / develop PCB layout and Layout design verification.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION OF THE JOB: Schematics entry and Simulations, Layout Entry and Layout design verifications, Gerber generations, Library generations on CAD tools and interactions with PCB fabricators and PCB assemblers.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Engineering-Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication or Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
EXPERIENCE: Engineer with 3-9 yrs experience.

FIRMWARE ENGINEERS WITH HARDCORE FPGA EXPERIENCE:
QUALIFICATIONS: Electrical/Electronics
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of prior experience in leading MNC/R&D Lab design companies.
Engineers need to be exposed to Electronic Product Designs from Capital Equipment Industry like Medical, Instrumentation, Semiconductor Equipment Industries.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
• Good understanding of basic electronics circuit design principles.
• Possess strong analytical and engineering problem solving skills.
• Digital and Analog Circuit Design, FPGA/PLD programming with strong knowledge in VHDL design verification and synthesis, place and route through HDL tools like XILINX/ALTERA/ACTEL.
• Exposure to firmware development using Microcontrollers, Microprocessors, Embedded processors, DSPs etc.
• Exposure to RTOS development added advantage.
